I am so excited to bring news of a release of a recipe app for iphone I have been working on this last year.
The Natural Kitchen Adventures app is now available to download for £2.29 via the app store
The app has been built on my strongest principles just like my blog; eating seasonally and eating lots of vegetables and fruits to be healthy. It features 50 recipes inspired by seasonal produce and also comes with a season by season produce guide.
You can browse and sort the recipes by season or meal type, but I also suggest looking in adjoining seasons as you can modify many of the recipes to work year-round. Some of the recipes are my favourites from the blog, but there are also 30 brand spanking new ones. Many of the recipes are really quick and simple. I’ve cooked and taught a lot of the recipes at cooking classes and retreats over the last few months, so they come with a tried and tested seal of approval!
For example in autumn you could be eating; nigella seed gram flour flatbread with turmeric scrambled eggs and chard, pink tahini buckwheat salad, and cinnamon pear bircher muesli.
The app also has an interactive shopping list feature, allows you to organise your favourite recipes, and has step by step instructions for each recipe that you can tick off as you progress.
Eating seasonally is the easiest way to get the most nutrients and the best flavours from your food, and through the app I really wanted to show how easy it is to cook and eat simply with the seasons as I do. Lets all make the most of our beautiful fresh produce!
I really hope you’ll enjoy cooking from the app, and I can’t wait to see your re-creations. Thank you so so much for your support. I’ll be back soon to share with you one of my favourite new recipes from the app!
The Natural Kitchen Adventures app has been produced by the team at Leafcutter Studios, and is priced at £2.29.5
